Anelia Tsolova

Biography

Anelia Tsolova was born in Sofia. She began her professional education at the State Choreographic School. She worked with the choreographers Petar Lukanov, Hikmet Mehmedov, Lorca Massine, Donvena Pandoursky, Dinna Bjørn, Mario Piazza, Boryana Sechanova, Oleg Danovski, Irene Schneider, Adam Luders, George Janko and others.

Awards:

  • Distinction for pedagogical work from the Kalina Bogoeva Foundation – 2017
  • Guest soloist at the Ruse State Opera, Bulgaria – 2000-2009
  • Guest ballet pedagogue in Izmir, Turkey – 2011
  • Guest ballet pedagogue in Podgorica, Montenegro – 2010
  • Finalist at the Anastas Petrov National Ballet Competition – 1994
  • Participant at the Varna International Ballet Competition – 1994
  • Ballet pedagogue of the class of 2019 of the National School of Dance Art – Classic Dance
