Калина Асенова

Kalina was born on July 12, 2007 in Sofia. Since the age of four, she has been dubbing and singing in various box office films and animations, including "Happy Feet", "Frozen", "Brave", "Maya the Bee", "Star Wars", "The Lion King", "Coco" and many others.

She voiced TV commercials and shows by Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. She also played parts in live action films. In 2017, she participated in the first season of the American series "ABSENTIA", where she plays the main character’s (Emily) younger self. In the same year Kalina also starred in the Bulgarian film "Lily the little Fish" as the unusual magical child Alex. She also participated in series of short films for Bulgarian National Television, directed by Dimitar Sharkov.

In the years from 2011 to 2018 Kalina also appeared in TV commercials.
In 2020, her first musical role was on the largest stage in Bulgaria - Sofia Opera and Ballet theatre as young Fiona in the Broadway musical "Shrek The Musical".

In the beginning of 2023, she was invited by American director West Hyler for the role of Pearl in the Broadway musical – “SpongeBob The Musical” at the Sofia Puppet Theater. In the same year she was invited to play Lucy, one of the main roles in the first large scale Bulgarian musical - "The Book of Dreams" in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture in Bulgaria.

Kalina has been a student at the L. Pipkov National Music School since 2012. For the first eight years she studied classical guitar and for the past 4 years she has specialized in pop and jazz singing.
