Biography

Assistant director and stage manager Vera Beleva graduated from the Varna Music School in 1988 with a degree in opera singing.
From 1989 to 1993 she was a member of the Stara Zagora Opera. From 1993 to 2004 she was a freelance artist and participated in a number of prestigious opera performances in Germany, Austria, France, England and elsewhere. Since 2004 she has been a member of the Plovdiv Opera, and since 2005 she has been working at the Sofia Opera Ballet as a stage manager.

Since 2011 she has been evaluated as the successful discovery of Maestro Plamen Kartaloff and became his assistant in the productions "Un ballo in maschera", "Tosca" and "Rigoletto", "Boris Godunov" and "Nabucco" in St. Alexander Nevsky Square, the latest production of "Carmen". She made a significant contribution to the successful presentation of the Sofia Opera with the opera "Un ballo in maschera" in Bucharest and the opera "Rigoletto" in the city of Krasnoyarsk.

Assistant director in the production of Hugo de Ana of the opera "Aida" by Verdi.

 Assistant to Hugo de Ana in all his productions on the stage of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, as well as to Filippo Tonon in the production of "Il trovatore".
 
Since 2014 she has also been Senior Stage Manager.
