Biography

He was born on 03.06.1987 in Burgas, Bulgaria. He completed his secondary education at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National School of Music and Performing Arts – Burgas (2006) and Bachelor's (2010) and Master's (2013) degrees at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music – Sofia in the class of prof. Marina Kapatsinskaya.

Active participant in various piano master classes: Marina Kapatsinskaya, Plamena Mangova (Bulgaria, Spain), prof. Boyan Vodenicharov (Bulgaria, Belgium), prof. Éric Heidsieck (France), prof. Pancho Vladigerov Jr. (Germany), prof. Paolo Police (Italy), prof. Ventsislav Yankov (France), etc.

Winner of a number of music competitions: "Varban Varbanov" – Burgas (two First Prizes in the "Piano" and one in the "Piano Duo" categories, 2000 and 2006);

10th International Youth Music Festival "Hopes, Talents, Masters" – Dobrich - Albena (2nd place in Composition, 2005);

4th National Competition for Russian Music in "A. Н. Scriabin",Sofia, (Third Prize, 01-03.10.2003)

From 18.05.2005 to 22.05.2005 participated in the VII Spring Correspondence Baden-Baden-Burgas – International Podium "Young Talents", held in both cities.

The 5th International Competition for German and Austrian Music – M.A.G.I.C., Burgas (1st place in the piano category and 3rd place in the piano accompaniment category, 2005);

5th "Franz Schubert" International Competition – Ruse (1st place in the category "Piano Duo", 2005);

The 7th "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" National Competition for Pianists and Violinists – Shumen (1st Prize and the Anton Dikov Prize, 2009);

"Marin Goleminov" Academic Competition for Singers – Sofia (1st Prize in the category "Piano accompaniment", 2009);

"Franz Schubert" International Competition – Ruse (2nd Prize, without first prize in Chamber Music as Duo Magnifique with Sofia Martinova – flute, 2015);

In 2009 he won a scholarship from Todoroff Winery with a performance of Piano Concerto No. 27 by V. А. Mozart.

After graduation, he worked as a guest accompanist for the flute class of prof. Lydia Oshavkova at the "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" National Academy of Music – Sofia from September 2010 to June 2013.

Participated as an accompanist in the master classes of prof. Oshavkova in the Stravaganza Music Festival – Kavarna, Bulgaria in August, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

In the first year (2010), he was the accompanist of the master class in singing of Miss Petya Plugchieva, who is also the organizer of the Stravaganza Festival – Kavarna.

In the following years he continued to collaborate with Ms. Plugchieva, resulting in several concerts in Kavarna and Sofia, including classical opera songs and arias, jazz, pop and rock music.

In the second semester of 2012/13 he was a guest accompanist at the Vocal Faculty of the "Pancho Vladigerov" National Music Academy in the classes of Assoc. Prof. Ivanka Ninova and Assoc. Prof. Maria Belcheva.

At the same time a guest pianist of the Ballet at the "Stefan Makedonski" National Music Theatre – Sofia.

He has participated in representative concerts of the NMA – Sofia as a soloist and together with the Academic Student Orchestra:

Mozart – Piano Concerto No.27, March 2009;

Franz Liszt – Piano Concerto No.1, May 2009;

Soloist of the Burgas Philharmonic (Beethoven – Piano Concerto No.1, 2005) and the Vidin Symphony (George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue, January, 2013).

Participated in the production of Rumen Tsonev's "Rhythm and Blues 2" in the 2015/16 season of 0the Small Town "Theatre Behind the Canal".

From November 2015 to November 2016, he taught piano at the Music Art Centre.

He has extensive experience in jazz and pop music:

From April 2008 to April 2011, he worked as a pianist at the Sheraton Hotel – Sofia. In the same period, he worked in the piano bar of Hotel Rodina – Sofia. From June to September 2011, he worked in "Royal Hotel Barcelo" – the largest hotel in Sunny Beach.

In 2012, 2013 and 2015, 2017-2020, he worked as part of the classical "Duo Magnifique" with Sofia Martinova – flute in one of the most beautiful hotels in the world – "The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa" – Hokkaido, Japan.

Since March 2021 she has been working as an accompanist at Sofia Opera and Ballet.
