Nina Stoyanova

Biography

Nina Dimitrova Stoyanova was born in Ruse. She graduated from the "Prof. V. Stoyanov" Music School, later higher education at the "Prof. P. Vladigerov" Academy of Music – Sofia, majoring in violin. She worked for 23 years as concertmaster in the Ruse Philharmonic Orchestra, founded the Pristis Music Studio, made numerous concerts and recordings with her ensemble, toured in Italy, Romania, Germany.

Later she worked at the Sofia Opera as concertmaster and at the Sofia Music School as a violin and chamber music teacher.

She currently lives and works in Pleven. She writes mainly short stories. In 2015 she started working as a writer. In 2015, she received the Second prize at the competition "Irelevant" – Sofia, for the image of Elitsa from the story of the same name. She publishes short stories in "Eurochicago". She published her first book "From the memories of the sad collector of moments".

She was awarded the Golden Lyre. The high award was handed out to her by the President of the Union Stanislav Pochekanski.

Nina Stoyanova's father, Dimitar Stoyanov, is one of the founders of the Ruse Philharmonic Orchestra.
