Paszkowski graduated with honors from the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence, majoring in conducting. He attended masterclasses led by Ferdinand Leitner, Carlo-Maria Giulini and Emil Chakarov. He has cooperated with many different orchestras and institutions including the Tuscany orchestra, Teatro “Verdi” in Pisa, the Milano musical Pomeriggi orchestra, the Lacio regional orchestra, the Tuscany philharmonic, the Sicily symphony orchestra, the “Haydn” orchestra in Bolzano, the Teatro “Lirico” orchestra in Cagliari and the Teatro “Massimo” orchestra in Palermo, the Monte Carlo philharmonic orchestra and the Krakow philharmonic.
From 2000 till 2012 he was the preparatory director of the Italian youth orchestra.
In 2009, he conducted the “Luigi Cherubini” and “Giovanile Italiana” orchestras during the festival in Ravena, by invitation from Riccardo Muti. In 2010, Paszkowski returned to again conduct the “Cherubini” orchestra in “Il Trovatore” directed by Cristina Mazzavillani Muti; the following year, he led the orchestra and choir of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma in “Nabucco” at the Mariinsky theater in Saint Petersburg.
In 2012, during the closing of the 23rd edition of the Ravena festival, he conducted Verdi’s “popular” trilogy: “Rigoletto”, “Il Trovatore” and “La Traviata” at the “Alighieri” theater. That same year, he led the “Arturo Toscanini” philharmonic orchestra during the “Kissinger Sommer” International music festival.
In 2013, again under the directorship of Cristina Mazzavillani Muti, he conducted the “Verdi and Shakespeare” trilogy: “Macbeth”, “Otello” and “Falstaff”.
In 2015, he set “The Barber of Seville” for an opera studio; he opened the Florentine opera summer season with the “Maggio Musicale” orchestra and in September he conducted the 30th anniversary concert of the Royal Oman symphony orchestra. As part of the Puccini trilogy during the Ravena festival in 2015, he conducted “La Boheme” directed by Cristina Mazzavillani Muti.
In 2016, he conducted “The Merry Widow” set for an opera studio and in April that same year he brought back “Macbeth” on the Teatro “Alighieri” stage in Ravena. He conducted a symphony concert with the orchestra of Teatro “Petrucelli” in Bari and during the opera festival in Savonlinna he conducted “Falstaff” and “Macbeth”. The same year, by invitation from Raina Kabaivanska, he conducted Puccini’s “Turandot” at the Sofia Opera. In April 2017, he conducted “La Boheme” in Saint Petersburg during the second “Elena Obraztsova” festival.
He’s a member of maestro Riccardo Muti’s examination board at the Italian opera academy.
