Kristian Manev

Biography

Kristian Manev was born in Kazanlak. He began his professional ballet education at the Hristina Мorfova School of Arts in Stara Zagora with Alida Boneva, and a year later, he continued for 3 more years at the Dobri Hristov National School of Arts in Varna.

In 2007, he was awarded a full scholarship from the Vienna Ballet School with professor Valentin Onoshko. In 2011, he joined the Youth company of the Vienna Ballet, directed at that time by Manuel Legris. He worked at the Croatia National Ballet, the Zurich Ballet, the Israel National Ballet, the Greek National Ballet, and in 2021 he began work at the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
