Biography
Joshua Legge is an Australian dancer and choreographer, graduated from English National Ballet School in 2015. From 2015-2017 he danced with Teatrul de Balet Sibiu, performing both in Sibiu and touring nationally and in Europe. Here he danced many soloist roles in both classical and modern works, including Anna Karenina, Paquita, Tristan and Isolde, Don Quixote and Swan Lake, among others.
In 2017, he joined the ballet company of Teatr Wielki w Łodzi, and was promoted to Soloist in the 2019-2020 Season. In Łódź, he has had the opportunity to perform many wonderful roles from ballets including Zorba the Greek, Ziemia Obiecana, Carmina Burana, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Harnasie, Romeo et Juliette and Giselle. Career highlights include guest performances of Zorba at the Ataturk Cultural Centre in Istanbul, Ephesus Ancient Theatre and Odeon of Herodus Atticus in Athens, staging his own ballets ‘Hubris’ and ‘Displaced’ for his home theatre and dancing ‘Scene d’Amour’ from Romeo et Juliette in the ‘Sacre’ evening for Sasha Waltz and Guests.
