Giorgia Marchi

I'm Giorgia Marchi, I'm 20 years old and I was born in Rome (Italy).

At the age of 10 I was admitted to the Ballet School of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma where I studied for eight years and I obtained the Ballet Diploma in July 2020 under the direction of Mrs. Laura COMI and studying with Ms. Ofelia GONZALEZ and Mo.  Pablo MORET.

During this training I played solo roles in ballets of classical repertoire such as "The Nutcracker" by Marius Petipa (Clara\Marie - Pas de Trois Mirlitons) and also neoclassical genre such as "Turnpike" by Mo. Mauro BIGONZETTI.

I have also participated in numerous productions of the Ballet Company of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma (Sleeping Beauty, Manon, The Nutcracker, Turandot) as Corps de Ballet.

In 2019 I won the award for "Best Talent" in Salerno.

In the 2021 / 2022 season I joined the Ballet Preljocaj Junior -as Corps de Ballet - Artistic Director Mo. Angelin PRELJOCAJ in Aix en Provence (France) and with the Company I won the award for "Best Dance Film" at the Cannes Film Festival 2022

In September 2022 - Show "OnDance 2022" as Corps de Ballet - Artistic Director Mo. Roberto BOLLE in Milan (Italy)

From November 2022 to January 2023 - Roma City Ballet Company - Productions "The Nutcracker" and "Cinderella "- Solo Roles - Artistic Director Mo. Luciano CANNITO - Tour in Rome, Naples, Turin (Italy)

I joined Sofia Opera and Ballet in May 2023.
