Malcolm in “Lady of the Lake”, Polina in “Queen of Spades”, Olga in “Evgenii Onegin”, Neris in “Medea”, Carmen, Eboli in “Don Carlo”, Princesse de Bouillon in “Adriana Lecouvreur”: these are just some of the roles for which the audience applauded the mezzo soprano Violeta Radomirska.
During the Wagner festival, she is going to debut as Waltraute in “Gotterdammerung” on the 31st of May: the last part of the “Der Ring des Nibelungen” tetralogy by Richard Wagner.
“This year, I will be performing in operas by Richard Wagner for the first time. I’ve performed his songs a long time ago. I’m going to be the third singer from the ensemble to perform the role of Waltraute. Luckily, the part is short. I mostly hope I will be able to control my excitement and perform well vocally”, Violeta Radomirska wished.
