In connection with frequently asked questions regarding the conversion of amounts from EUR to BGN when purchasing tickets by bank transfer, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that until 31.12.2025 the only official currency in the country is the Bulgarian LEV! Until that date, we accept payments only in BGN, as the prices announced in BGN and EUR in accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria mean that the announced value in BGN is equivalent to that specified in EUR. This does not prevent banks from using a different buying rate until 31 December 2025 for cashless payments (i.e. for orders made by bank transfer or bank card) in cases where it is necessary to convert an amount ordered in EUR for the purposes of its receipt in our bank accounts in BGN.

The buying rate of the bank servicing the Sofia Opera and Ballet – UBB – for non-cash payments from EUR to BGN is 1. 94900 BGN per EURO , which you should take into account when making bank transfers to the Sofia Opera and Ballet's bank accounts in BGN, as well as all other additional fees charged by your and our financial institution. We have been assured by UBB that this exchange rate will remain unchanged until 31 December 2025.Important message!
