Stefani Krasteva will be Tatiana in "Eugene Onegin"

The opera "Eugene Onegin" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky will be presented at the festival "Muses of Water".

The soprano Stefani Krasteva will present herself as Tatiana. In the other roles are Atanas Mladenov (Eugene Onegin), Hrisimir Damyanov (Vladimir Lensky), Alexandrina Stoyanova (Larina), Vesela Yaneva (for the first time in the role of Olga), Angel Hristov (Prince Gremin), Dimitar Stanchev (Zaretsky) and Nikolay Voynov (Company Commander). Rumyana Petrova (Filippyevna), Krasimir Dinev (Triquet).

The production team includes the conductor Andrey Galanov and the director Vera Petrova. The musical and stylistic staging is the work of Larisa Gergieva and chorus master is Violeta Dimitrova.

Stefani Krasteva points out that she loves to dream. One of her biggest dreams is to play the role of Tatiana from the opera "Eugene Onegin". In the image of Tatiana she sees the most valuable human quality – kindness. The singer thanks God for the talent he has given her and for the strength and perseverance he gives her to develop it.

Stefani Krasteva was born in Varna. She graduated from the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov" in Varna with a degree in Classical Singing. In 2017 she graduated with a Master's degree at the vocal faculty of the National Academy of Music in the class of classical singing of Assoc. Prof. Ivanka Ninova and in the acting class of acad. Plamen Kartaloff.

She participated in the opera "Bastien und Bastienne" by W.А. Mozart as Bastien, "Suor Angelica" by G. Puccini, as Dolcina, as well as in the children's operas "Little Red Riding Hood" as Little Red Riding Hood and "The Cat in the Hat" as the Princess.

The singer is a laureate of the First International Competition "Art Stars" – Varna. Laureate in the "Festival of Russian Classical and Contemporary Romance – Balkanskaya Romansiada", participation in the finals of the competition in Moscow, as well as a professional recording in the first studio of the Bulgarian National Radio. Winner of the International Youth Festival "Slavic Bell" – First Prize.

"Eugene Onegin" will be performed on 14 August at Lake Pancharevo.
