Our audience’s review of “MacBeth”: five memorable evenings filled with Giuseppe Verdi’s score based on William Shakespeare’s tragedy. We thank everyone who experienced these performances together with us.
After these premiere performances, we again invite you to see an opera by Verdi: On the 2nd and 5th of April, the famous bass Alexandar Vinogradov will take on the role of King Philip II in “Don Carlos”. Also starring: Gabriela Georgieva, Radostina Nikolaeva, Arthur Espiritu, Atanas Mladenov, Svetozar Rangelov, Gergana Rusekova, Maria Pavlova, Nikolai Voinov.
With the participation of the Sofia Opera orchestra and choir under the conductorship of Oliver von Donani.
The performance on the 5th of April is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the worldwide acknowledged Bulgarian bass Nikola Guzelev’s birth.
