Few operas have a happy ending. The reasons for this lie in human passion and feelings.
In Richard Wagner’s work, and especially in “Der Ring des Nibelungen”, there is an unusual abundance of crimes which would lead to many legal sentences in the real world.
All of this will be looked at but not too seriously!
