Giacomo Puccini's opera "La Bohème" returns to the stage of the Sofia Opera with three performances on 15, 16, 17 December.

The exciting story of Mimi and Rudolf will come to life in the performance of the soloists Emil Pavlov, Veselin Mikhailov, Anton Andreev, Stefan Vladimirov, Marina Shahdinarova and Stanislava Momekova on 16 December.

On 15 and 17 December the soloists of the opera theatre in Daegu, South Korea – Eunji Chung, Eunseong Jeong, Jungwoo Kim, Min-ah Baek, Jaemin Jeon will perform for the first time on the Sofia stage, and their participation strengthens the good relations between the two theatres. A special appearance will be made by baritone Jong Hyuk (Carlo) Seo, who has already appeared on our stage in Verdi's Il Trovatore and Don Pasquale by Donizetti.

The conductor will be Paolo Andreoli, the staging is by Boyko Bogdanov, restored by Vera Petrova. The orchestra and chorus of the Sofia Opera will also participate.
