On the 19th of September, an anniversary concert of Raina Kabaivanska’s 25th masterclass took place at the Sofia Opera in which participants in her masterclass took part as well as already famous opera singers, graduates from Raina Kabaivanska’s School.
After the concert ended, deputy minister Georgi Sultanov awarded our world-famous singers with the most prestigious award of the Ministry of culture: a “Golden Century” necklace.
“Dear audience, dear colleagues, dear Maestra Kabaivanska, for me it is an exceptional pleasure and privilege to present the most prestigious award of the Ministry of culture: a “Golden Century” necklace”, minister Sultanov said.
In the diploma awarded together with the prize it is written that the awarded opera singer is internationally acknowledged and has greatly contributed to the development of vocal art all around the world.
