With a fine psychological touch and a clearly built stage signature, Vera Nemirova creates a space in which one person turns into an entire universe
Alma Mahler is an intriguing and controversial person, a companion of some of the brightest figures of the European artistic world between the two world wars: the composer Gustav Mahler, the architect Walter Gropius, the artist Oscar Kokoschka and the writer Franz Werfel.
Alma is the daughter of an artist and is a woman with a deep spirituality and her own composing talent; she was forced to suppress her artistic aspirations in the name of love and to dedicate her life to the men next to her.
