Pavlova rehearses for her “flight” on stage through special training together with acrobat Leonsia Dokuzova. The Forest bird’s appearance always leaves the audience in awe.
Maria Pavlova has been a Sofia Opera lead singer since 2024 and has already taken part in many performances.
We recently applauded her as Clorinda in “Cinderella” by Rossini, as the First Lady in “The Magic Flute” by Mozart, as Frasquita in “Carmen” by Bizet, and as Nanetta in “Falstaff” by Verdi.
On the 14th of June, she will perform as the Shephard in “Tannhäuser” by Wagner: a performance which will close the Sofia Opera Wagner festival.
