Madama Butterfly’s dramatic love story recreated by Giacomo Puccini once again touched the Sofia Opera audience.

Plamen Kartaloff’s production evoked lots of emotion and excitement in the full to the brim hall. Lila Lee arrived in Sofia to perform the role of Cho-Cho San in love. Martin Iliev took on the role of lieutenant Pinkerton and Kiril Manolov was the American consul Sharpless; Vesela Yaneva: Suzuki; Nikolai Pavlov: Goro; Shana-Nikol Pechanova: Dolore.
