“Les Misérables”: one of the most produced musicals in the world, once again takes the Bulgarian stage and not just anywhere but at “St. Alexander Nevsky” square. Starring many fan-favorite and Bulgarian artists including Vlado Mihailov and Orlin Pavlov.
In the studio of “Sabudi se”, Orlin Pavlov stated that his first encounter with “Les Misérables” was Victor Hugo’s novel and that he saw the movie only after reading the book. “The film raised many questions one of which was why these actors don’t sing as much as we would like; nonetheless, they’re all great stars. There is always debate whenever it comes to art and those debates will never stop. It’s all a matter of taste”, he shared.
Vlado Mihailov underlined that the story of “Les Misérables” reached him back when he was still a child. “Whether we studied the novel in school or not, I can’t remember exactly. However, I do remember this story moving me greatly”, he stated.
