Casting for eligibility in taking part in a men’s contest for the position of artist-ballet dancer, artist-solo ballet dancer and artist-premiere lead ballet dancer

The Sofia Opera and Ballet announces a casting for eligibility in taking part in a men’s contest for the position of artist-ballet dancer, artist-solo ballet dancer and artist-premiere lead ballet dancer which will take place on 08.11.2025, 15:00.

Casting terms and conditions:

1. Age: no applicants younger than 18 and older than 26.

2. Diploma for a completed high school education.

3. Diploma for a completed ballet education or a professional qualification.

4. Biography (CV).

5. Photographic material (1 portrait photo and 2 ballet photos)

6. Short video material (a classic variation and one contemporary choreography).

7. Candidates must have citizenship in countries part of the European Union.

After a commission has graded all sent documents and materials, approved candidates will be invited to take part in the contest at the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
