Plamen Kartaloff’s exceptional production is much applauded both in Bulgaria and on different stages around the world and it enchanted the audience at the Sofia Opera hall.
“Absolutely incredible”, “Couldn’t be better”, “This is one of the best productions ever”, “Thank you for the good work”, “The Wagner festival put this city on the world map”: this is just a small part of the shared impressions by some of our viewers. Most of them are passionate Wagnerians who travel everywhere where performances of operas by their favorite composer are shown.
The final applause, the exalted greeting of each and every one of our artists, the director, the conductor and the orchestra before and after every act: this is an inspiration and a recognition for the theater and the entire team.

On the 29th of May, the Wagner festival continues with “Siegfried”: the third part of the “Der Ring des Nibelungen” tetralogy.
