The ballet season at Sofia Opera and Ballet opens with Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, in the choreography of Kaloyan Boyadjiev, on 8, 10 and 11 October.
One of the greatest ballet masterpieces of the 20th century will take you into a world of love, the pursuit of freedom, and the solitary heights of dignity and honour.
The principal roles will be performed by Boryana Petrova, Vyara Ivancheva, Marta Petkova, Emil Yordanov, Nikola Hadjitanеv, Federico Pinto, Georgi Banchev, Simeon Atanasov and Vincenzo Caruana, together with the soloists and corps de ballet.
