On the 11th of April, the audience enjoyed the “Carmen” suite by George Bizet and Rodion Schedrin as well as “Paquita” by Ludwig Minkus.
Marta Petkova, Nikola Hadzhitanev, Frederico Pinto, Vincenzo Caruana, Nevena Halvadzhieva, Vyara Ivancheva, Elena Petrova and the Sofia Opera corps de ballet performed their roles exceptionally in the “Carmen” ballet suite, with choreography by Alberto Alonso.
Our ballet dancers were greeted with wild applause after the second part of the evening. Boryana Petrova, Tsetso Ivanov, Vyara Ivancheva, Kristina Chochanova, Mateo Valenti and our lead dancers had the audience in awe.
