Director, teacher of acting at the Talasamche Children’s Vocal and Drama Formation and Ohana Youth Chamber Choir
Born on 8 March 1965 in Sofia. He graduated from secondary school in Kazanlak (1983). In 1989 he graduated from Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts – specialty "Acting for drama theatre" in the class of prof. Krikor Azaryan. In 1990 he co-founded the "Actors' Theatre Formation" ("ATF") theatre company and the school attached to it ("Laternata", "Moa u tupan", "Tchayka", "Natyurmort", "Tobelia", "Henry IV", "Festino"). Since 1993 he has been singing in the "Aqua-Delia" vocal formation with conductor prof. Dilyana Micheva. From 1995 to 2001 he joined the theatre company of Art Theatre ("A Tale for Life", "Buratino", "Pumpal", "At the Closed Door", "The Little Prince", Pushkin – "Angelo", "Pippi Longstocking"). In 1996 he founded the TEDI Theatre Studio, of which he has been director and artistic director ever since ("I Believe in Christmas", "Epic of the Forgotten", "How Mr. Mockinpott Saved Himself from Misfortune", "The Sleeping Beauty", "Buratino", "Sleepwalkers", "Cinderella", "Pumpal"). In 1999 he became a teacher of acting at the Talasamche Children’s Vocal and Drama Formation under the direction of Dimitar Kostantsaliev. He directed and wrote the musicals "Hello, Holiday", "The Salute", "Who Believes in Christmas?", "In the Kingdom of Letters", "The Stars of Venice", "The Last Wish" and "The Day of Forgiveness" – staged and performed on the stages of the theatres "Salza i smyah ", NDK, Youth Theatre, Musical Theatre and Sofia National Opera and Ballet. In 2012 he worked in the musical "John – the Son of Thunder" at Sofia Theatre, and in 2013 – in the musical "Chicago" at Stefan Makedonski Musical Theatre. In 2002 he published a book of poetry "Grass in the Sea" and in 2004 – a CD of his own music "Awakening". In 2011, he co-founded an acoustic project for new urban songs "Tochka BG" ("Tochka BG", "Forever", "Aquarelle", "August", "Fountain in the Rain", "The Cities Where We Are Not"). Over the years he has worked in cinema and television ("Bird of Prey", "The Citizen Rebels", "The Sign of the Bulgarian", "Sea Tales", "A Grain of Sand from the World", "Ship in the Heart"). He has won numerous national and international awards as a composer, actor and director.
