Liu Yitian

Biography

Born in Nanyang China, he graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory (China) with top marks, receiving the Tianjin Binhai Voice Award of Excellence. In 2017, he moved to Italy where he obtained a Biennium Level II Diploma in Singing at the Arrigo Pedrollo Consrvatorio in Vicenza. In his home country, in addition to concerts as a soloist at the Guangzhou Opera House and the Zhengzhou Grand Theater, he took part in productions of G. Verdi's Aida as Ramfis at the Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater, G. Versi's Luisa Miller as Count of Walter at the Guangzhou Opera House, V. Ullman's Der Kaiser von Atlantis as Der Tod and Tannhäuser as Biterolf at the Shanghai Opera House. In Italy, he took part in concerts at the Cordellina Palace in Vicenza, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza and performed the roles of Dottor Giovanni in the opera Amore in Guerra at the Opera Theatre in Valdagno and Geronte in G. Puccini's Manon Lescaut at the Theatre in Vicenza.

Past productions include Verdi Requiem in Bologna, Turin and Venice, Il Trovatore in Florence, and Un Ballo in Maschera in Cagliari and Palermo. He will soon be singing Aida in Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo and Seoul, Nabucco in Portland, Macbeth in Calgary, Verdi Requiem in Sofia and Washington, Calgary and others.
