Vesela Yaneva

Biography

Born in Varna, where she graduated from National school of arts "Dobri Hristov" with a degree in classical singing and performed in Bulgaria and Europe as a soloist of the Varna Children's and Youth Opera with conductor Gancho Ganchev.

Winner of the prestigious "Flight in Art" award of the "Stoyan Kambarev" Foundation with Dessy Tenekedjieva as its predecessor.

She graduates the National Academy of Arts "prof. P. Vladigerov" - Sofia in the classical singing class of prof. Ivanka Ninova and acting in the class of ak. Plamen Kartalov.

She participates in master classes of Anna Tomova-Sintov, Larisa Gergieva, Darina Takova, Aleksandrina Pendachanska.

She specialized in the "Boris Hristov" Academy at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Rome with Professor Anna Vandi.

In 2018 she made her debut in Albano and Tuscany at the 'Lirica in piazza' festival in the role of the Princess from "Sister Angelica", Puccini.

In 2020, she was selected to be a part of Raina Kabaivanska's XX Master Class at the New Bulgarian University and received a scholarship to study in the city of Modena.

Since 2020, she has been part of the soloist department of Sofia National Opera an Ballet, where she debuted in the role of Ulrika in "Ball with Masks" and partnered with Maria Gulegina and Ramon Vargas.
