Tsveta Sarambelieva

Biography

She graduated from the Lyubomir Pipkov Music School, and later from the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music with a degree in Opera singing in 1998.

She perfected her professional growth in the master classes of the famous Ghena Dimitrova, Kaludi Kaludov and Nicola Ghiuselev.

From 1998 to 2001, she was a soloist at the Ruse Opera, where she successfully developed her repertoire with roles such as: Isabella /"L’Italiana in Algeri" by Rossini/, Efrosina /"Momchil" by L. Pipkov/, Carmen /"Carmen" by Bizet/ and others.

Since 2002, she has been touring intensively with parts such as Ulrica /"Un Ballo in Maschera" by Verdi/, Azucena /"Il Trovatore" by Verdi/, Maddalena /"Rigoletto" by Verdi/, Flora and Annina /"La Traviata" by Verdi/.

She has taken part in many spectacles in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Norway, France and Italy.

At the Sofia Opera and Ballet, she participated in the staging of the opera "Dido and Aeneas" by Henry Purcell /2005/, and since 2009, as a soloist of our first opera house, she appears in the performances of "Don Quixote" by Massenet /Dulcinea/, "Les Contes d’Hoffmann" by Offenbach /Giulietta/ and "Prince Igor" by Borodin /Konchakovna/.

She is a laureate of the Hristo Brambarov Competition for Young Opera Singers – III prize.
