Teodor Vodenicharov

Biography

Teodor Vodenicharov graduated from the National School of Dance Art in 2003 with the professors Boyko Nedelchev and Silvia Tomova.

In 2003, he began working at the National Opera and Ballet as artist-ballet dancer.

In 2006-2007, he was promoted in soloist. He takes part in the entire repertoire of Sofia Opera and Ballet.

 

Awards:

  • 2006-2007 – Prize for partner at the Anastas Petrov Competition in Dobrich.

Lead roles:

  • “Who cares”; “Zorba the Greek” in the role of John; “Le Sacre du Printemps” in the role of The Elf.

 

Semi-soloist roles:

  • “Swan Lake” – Mazurka, Hungarian Dance;
  • “The Nutcracker” – Spanish Doll, French Doll, Four soloists, Drosselmeyer;
  • “Giselle” – Wilfrid;
  • “La Dame aux Camélias” – Death;

  • “La Bayadère” – Main Warrior;
  • “The Sleeping Beauty” – Puss-in-Boots, The Wolf, Catalabutte;
