Stanislava Momekova

Stanislava Momekova was born in Burgas. There are no musicians in her family, but her parents created all the conditions for her to develop her musical talent. From 1998 to 2004, she studied flute and opera singing at the Burgas Music School "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov".

From 2004 to 2008, she studied opera singing at the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" – Sofia, in the class of prof. Ilka Popova. She also graduated with a Master's degree. In 2011, Stanislava was selected to participate in the master class of Kammersängerin Anna Tomowa-Sintow.

After a number of spectacles in Bulgaria and abroad, in which she debuted with leading roles, since 2013 she has been a artist-soloist of the Plovdiv Opera, and since 2019 a soloist of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.

- Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady" by Frederick Loewe;
- Lucy in "The Telephone" by Gian Carlo Menotti;
- Olympia from "Le contes d’Hoffmann" by Jacques Offenbach;

In 2010 Stanislava Momekova received the Crystal Lyre Award for Opera and Operetta art of the Union of Bulgarian Composers. She is the only woman to be awarded the Yamaha Award for high artistic achievements.
