Matthew Whittle was born in Burton Upon Trent, England.
He trained at Elmhurst Ballet School 2008-2016.
During his time there, he performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet during the years 2014-2016. He has performed in various gala performances including tours to Japan and America.
Upon graduating he joined Sofia National Opera and Ballet in September 2016. Since joining Sofia Opera and Ballet, he has taken part in all spectacles of the theatre, as well in tours including Italy and Japan.
