Mariana Zvetkova

Biography

She graduated from the Prof.Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music in Sofia.

The beginning of her international career was at La Scala in Milan in 1999, as Maddalena in the opera “Andrea Chénier”, followed by Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss in 2000, under the baton of Giuseppe Sinopoli.

She has a series of appearances on the stages in Munich, Tokyo, Dresden, Rio de Janeiro, Lyon and other cities.

She gained popularity with roles from operas by Verdi, Puccini, Richard Strauss, Richard Wagner, Beethoven.

She realized records for Deutsche Grammophon and Naxos Records.

Since 2010, she has been a guest-professor at the Vocal Faculty of the Catholic University of South Korea.
