Francesco Congiusti

Biography

Francesco Congiusti graduated from the National Academy of Dance (Rome) in 2017.

In the same year, he took part in two productions with Balletto di Siena – “Carmen” and “Grand Suite Classique”. In season 2017/2018 he was soloist at the North Bohemian Theatre, where he danced in “The Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, etc. In 2018 he was working in Rome in the Daniele Cipriani Entertainment Company, where he danced the neoclassic repertoire of the choreographer Amedeo Amodio. Since 2019 he has been part of the cast of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.

 

Awards:

  • 2014 – Rieti Danza Festival – First Prize in category Solo;
  • 2016 – Rieti Danza Festival – Second Prize in category Pas de deux;
  • 2017 – Gala EUROPA IN DANZA 2017 – Young Promised Award;
  • 2017 – Gala Premio Roma Danza 2017 – Bbest debut of Italian talents;
  • 2019 – Golden Medal from the Anastas Petrov Competition.

 

Repertoire:

“Zorba the Greek”, “Le Corsaire”, “Don Quixote”, “La Bayadère”, “Carmina Burana”, “La Sylphide”, “The Nutcracker”, Jester in “Swan Lake” and Pas Paysanne Pas de deux in “Giselle”.
