Biography

Born in 1981 in Rousse.

Education

In 2000, he graduated from the “Prof. Veselin Stoyanov” National school of arts in Rousse with a major in viola, in Galina Koseva’s class.

In 2007, he graduated from the “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National music academy with a major in viola, in assoc. prof. Georgi Stoyanov’s class.

He takes part in masterclasses by Yuri Bashmet, Wilfried Strehle, Erik Kruger and others.

Professional experience

2001 – violist in the Sofia Philharmonic with a one-year replacement contract.

2005 – violist in the BNR Symphony orchestra with a one-year replacement contract.

2006 – leader of a violist group at the Sofia Sinfonietta.

2007 – leader of a violist group at the Cascais Chamber orchestra, Portugal.

2009 – violist with a temporary contract at the Murcia Symphony orchestra, Spain.

2010 – violist at the Rousse opera.

2010 – 2013 – violist at the Orquestra do Norte Symphony orchestra in Amarante, Portugal.

2013 – 2015 – solo violist at the Opera-symphonic theater orchestra in Rudolstadt, Germany.

2015 – present day – regular guest principal viola and tutti violist in many German opera and symphony orchestras among which:

The Halberstadt, Braunschweig, Hildesheim and Nordhausen theaters

The Gottingen, Hoff, Neu Brandenburg symphony orchestras

The Wernigerode, Schönebeck, Detmold chamber orchestras

As well as other chamber and symphony ensembles in Germany.
