He was born on 15 June 1974 in the city of Varna. He began to study classical singing at the age of 16 with professor Veselina Zafirova.
In 1998, he graduated from the Pancho Vladigerov State Music Academy, Sofia, in the class of Prof. Irena Brambarova. In 1995, he debuted as Colas in the opera "Bastien und Bastienne" by Mozart in Tegernsee with the Munich Philharmonic.
After graduating, he started working as a soloist at the Sofia Opera after a competition.
He participated in several international competitions, where he won 3 prizes: Hristo Brambarov Competition for Young Opera Singers (2nd Prize), Marie Kraja Competition in Tirana (2nd Prize) and International Singing Competition in the Italian town Rho (2nd Prize).
He made his debut at the Sofia Opera in the parts of the Grand Inquisitor, Verdi's Requiem, Raimondo, Jochanaan, Nilakantha, Alberich, Klingsor, Kurvenal, Scarpia, Amonasro, the High Priest ("Samson et Dalila"), Escamillo, Prince Igor and others.
He toured in Prague as Scarpia. In Füssen and at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, he sang Alberich in Wagner's Tetralogy, as well as Kurvenal in "Tristan and Isolde" in Ljubljana and Alberich in "Siegfried" in Minsk with the Sofia Opera.
In Japan he again with Sofia Opera he toured with Scarpia, Escamillo and others.
He has participated in many spectacles in Bulgaria and tours in Europe and the United States such as Escamillo, Ferrando, Ramfis, Amonasro, Timur, Verdi's Requiem, Angelotti, Klisar, Don Basilio, Scarpia and others.
In 2010, he was handed out the Crystal Lyre Award from the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers for Young Performer for his role as Alberich in Wagner's "Das Rheingold".
