Elektra returns to the Sofia Opera stage tonight | March 27

The Sofia Opera has the pleasure of once again greeting Georg Fritzsch who will conduct the performance of “Elektra”: an established German conductor with an international career famous for his precision, energetic style and his deep knowledge of opera and symphonic repertoire.

Having graduated from prestigious music institutions in Germany, Fritzsch works with many leading orchestras and opera theaters in Europe. Georg Fritzsch is highly valued because of his ability to build dramaturgical tension and to breathe life into the musical fabric, combining respect for tradition with a contemporary sound.

Maestro Fritzsch will conduct “Elektra” at the Sofia Opera for the second time.
