“In order to have a future, we must always rely on our historical past, our spiritual origins, our culture. This message has always been sent by the Sofia Opera and this is a trend of more than 15 years, in which every year around the national holidays we present emblematic Bulgarian titles.”
This was said before BNR by the director Vera Petrova, Deputy Director of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
She presented the two emblematic titles placed on the poster of the Opera for May – "Yana's Nine Brothers" by Lyubomir Pipkov and "The Saints Cyril and Methodius" by Jivka Klinkova, which will be available to the public on the eve of 24 May.
