We share our audience’s impressions of the four premiere performances of the opera “Falstaff” by Giuseppe Verdi.

The performances were a huge success and the viewers exaltedly applauded our wonderful artists and the amazing production.

“Falstaff” is produced by an Italian team. Director: Marco Gandini; scenography by Italo Grassi; costumes by Anna Biagiotti.

Starring, under the conductorship of Grigor Palikarov: Kiril Manolov and Lucio Gallo as Sir John Falstaff; Atanas Mladenov and Ventseslav Atanasov as Ford; Gabriela Georgieva and Milla Mihova as Alice Ford; Maria Pavlova, Silvia Teneva and Stanislava Momekova as Nannetta; Emil Pavlov and Rino Matafu as Fenton; Vesela Yaneva and Mariana Pencheva as Missis Quickly; Alexandrina Stoyanova-Andreeva and Maria Radoeva as Meg page; Angel Antonov and Krasimir Dinev as Doctor Caius; Nikolay Pavlov and Plamen Dimov-Grandzhan as Bardolph; Alexandar Nosikov, Anton Andreev and Nikolay Voinov as Pistola.

With the participation of the Sofia Opera orchestra and choir; choir conductor: Violeta Dimitrova.
