A special backstage tour – 29th of November, 2025, 6pm.
The Sofia Opera and Ballet opens its doors for an exceptional experience which will take you into Richard Wagner’s world and will reveal the magic of the stage from behind the scenes.
In the span of about ninety minutes, you will:
- Experience a tour of the iconic Sofia Opera building
- See the “Tannhäuser” décor assembly
- See a demonstration by makeup artists
- And more special surprises
With every purchased ticket for the 2026 Wagner festival, you automatically get access to this tour. All viewers with a ticket for the Wagner festival and/or “Tannhäuser” on the 30th of November are also allowed.
