We started intense rehearsals of the spectacle “Chatterers” – opera-satire by Lazar Nikolov based on Ivan Vazov’s short novel of the same name.
The premiere will take place on 2 March and it is dedicated to the composer’s 100th Anniversary!
Next spectacles on 4, 6 and 22 March. In his director’s notes Maestro Plamen Kartaloff shares that in “Chatterers” is present a congenial joint presence of the authors in the style of modernism. He offers a conceptual reading of the well-known plot, in which are outlined references to the contemporary political context.
