The two pieces are set for the 10^th and 11^th time in Sofia, respectively. Throughout the years, many legendary singers have taken part in them.

It is exactly with “Cavalleria Rusticana” in 1985 that Gena Dimitrova celebrated twenty years on stage; that same year, the unforgettable Nikola Nikolov performed the role of Canio in “Pagliacci”.

The two operas’ latest productions are helmed by director Plamen Kartaloff.
