At the end of January is the first premiere of the year on the stage of the Sofia Opera and Ballet. The title is "Anna Karenina" to music by Tchaikovsky. Choreographer and director is Leo Mujić.
The prima ballerina Marta Petkova, who since this season is also Artistic director of the Sofia Opera Ballet, takes on the role of Karenina.
