On the 7th of February, 11am, at Club “Opera”, we invite you to a matinee titled “Wagner: Voices of the Future”.
With the participation of Alexandrina Stoyanova-Andreeva (mezzo-soprano); Vesela Yaneva (mezzo-soprano); Violeta Radomirska (mezzo-soprano); Maria Pavlova (soprano) and Stanislava Momekova (soprano). We will also have a talk with Thomas Gribov who is currently working on the singers’ vocal preparation.
Our singers will present specially chosen fragments from different operas by Richard Wagner. We’re going to discuss how one rehearses for a Wagner role, what vocal and psychological preparation is needed as well as what obstacles and tasks one faces in a Wagner production.
