We celebrated two big anniversaries with the performances of the opera “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi: bass and Sofia Opera doyen Dimitar Stanchev’s 80th birthday and 25 years of artistic work of the conductor Grigor Palikarov.
We’re grateful for and acknowledge their longstanding dedication, talent and achievements. From the name of acad. Plamen Kartaloff, the two of them received an Honorary Sofia Opera plaquette.
We wish Dimitar Stanchev and Grigor Palikarov good health, inspiration and many more unforgettable performances on the Sofia Opera stage.
