CINZIA CHIARINI /ITALY/ IS GUEST AS EBOLI IN “DON CARLOS” ON 24.01

The mezzo-soprano has specialized by Raina Kabaivanska

The mezzo-soprano from Italy Cinzia Chiarini will be guest as princess Eboli in the spectacle of “Don Carlos” by Guiseppe Verdi on 24 January at 19.00 h. This is her first guest performance in a spectacle on the stage of Sofia Opera and Ballet after her participation in the Gala Concert of the Master class of Raina Kabaivanska in 2013.

Born in Rome on 12.05.1986, since she was little she started studying the violin, and after that also singing by the Italian mezzo-soprano Suzanna Anselmi. She enrolled at the “Santa Cecilia” Music Academy in Rome, which she graduated in 2010. Cinzia Chiarini improved her singing talent with the tenor Ernesto Veronelli and took part in many master classes of Carlo Guelfi, Daniela Barcellona, Alfonso Antoniozzi, Marco Berti, Ines Salazar, Rolando Panerai and others.

In May 2011 she took part in the educational project “School in the opera” of “Teatro del Opera di Roma”. In July of the same year, she won the International Opera Competition in Marrakesh and was finalist of the Competition “Citta di Bologna”.

Chiarini was distinguished at the “Deiva Marina” International Opera Competition by the jury with president the soprano Luisa Maragliano, and she was also finalist at the competitions “Citta di Bologna” and at the “Illicha” International Competition in 2012. In January 2012 she made a debut and won an award at the Competition for young opera singers AsLiCo – Italy. After the competition, there followed a sequence of concerts in “Grand Theatre” – Peking.

Since 2013 she continued her education by Raina Kabaivanska in her courses in Academia Chigiana – Siena, at New Bulgarian University – Sofia and at the Conservatoire Vecchi Tonelli – Modena.
