After performing in “Otello” at the King’s theater in Madrid and in “Salome” in Hamburg, Asmik Grigoryan: one of the most thrilling singers of our time, will arrive at the Sofia Opera on the 14th of November for a grand gala evening.
Maestro Daniel Oren who opened the Sofia Opera season with “Tosca” will conduct during Grigoryan’s Bulgarian debut.
The recital program includes: arias from “McBeth”, “Madama Butterfly”, “Tosca”, “Manon Lescaut”, the scene with Tatyana’s letter from “Eugene Onegin” and the song to the moon from “Rusalka”.
In addition, the Sofia Opera orchestra and choir will perform select fragments from works by Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky and Dvorzhak.
