Kabaivanska’s School presents “Norma“

The spectacles of the opera “Norma“ by Vincenzo Bellini are a joint project of the New Bulgarian University and the Sofia Opera and Ballet with the participation of young opera performers from Kabaivanska’s School from Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Serbia, South Korea and Chili. The international cast of performers in “Norma” includes participants and scholarship students in the master classes of the great opera actress. The young performers graduated their musical education at prestigious academies around the world and are perfecting themselves by Raina Kabaivanska at the New Bulgarian University and the Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute (Modena, Italy).

“Norma” will be a fourth project of the sort – after “La bohème” (2010-2012), “Werther” (2012), “Turandot” (2016) and it is a continuation of the initiative of Raina Kabaivanska to support the presentation of young opera singers – scholarship students of the Raina Kabaivanska Fund – on the international stage.
